»» Wine Festival in Cerveteri (Rome Surrounding)

Wine lovers who are visiting Rome late August can enjoy wine and grape festivals.

Cerveteri

The Etruscan town of Cerveteri celebrates the local grapes and its DOC wine — the ‘Cerveteri‘, on August 26.

The red Cerveteri is a ruby red wine, dry still or sweet still, with a sapid and harmonious taste and a slightly bitter finish.
The white variety is a golden yellow, dry still or sweet still wine, with a variable taste, from dry to semi-sweet and with a delicate aroma.

See Cerveteri on the interactive map.
