»» Early November Italy Celebrates Novello Wine
In Italy, early November is a time to celebrate the Novello wine. Novello is a primeur wine made from more than 60 different varieties of grape — unlike the most of non-Italian primeurs which are made with just one variety of grape.

Low in alcohol with a taste fresh and flavorful, Novello is a favorite among both wine amateurs and connoisseurs.
Every year it can be sold only starting from November 6. A few events will celebrate the annual launch of Novello.
First, the exhibit, “Salone nazionale del vino novello“, held in Vicenza, Veneto, on November 5.
Then on November 12, the “Novello in Cantina“, with more than 100 wine cellars across Italy which will open to the public for tasting the young wines. Each cellar will also offer local specialities to accompany the Novello tasting.
